About our farm
Supporting Local Agriculture
Cambyrne Farms was founded in Spring 2022, driven by a passion for homesteading and self-sufficiency. Starting on a modest 3-acre property in Georgetown, Texas, our farm blossomed with a greenhouse, vibrant garden, multiple chicken coops, goats, and a growing rabbitry.
As our vision for sustainable living grew, we realized our ambitions outpaced our small plot. In pursuit of greater possibilities, we acquired 32 acres in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, and embarked on an ambitious 1,000-mile journey to relocate our farm.
While we couldn’t bring all of our livestock, we proudly transported our prized Texas TAMUK-c rabbit breeding herd, introducing a unique rabbit variety to Kentucky. We revitalized an old poultry barn, welcoming four diverse chicken breeds, and eagerly anticipate the exciting opportunities awaiting us on this new land!
